Why is the price different?

Gold version 
is based on the natural color of the metal - brass - from which are the metal parts made.

Silver version 
in order to achieve a silver color, a nickel or chromium layer is applied to the brass part. That is why the silver surface finish is more expensive, is more complicated for production.

The inspiration for this original luminaire was the mother-of-pearl shell, coarsely ground on the outside by the sea power and covered with a shimmering layer of smooth mother-of-pearl on the inside. On request, we can offer various combinations and variants - clear glass, opal with gold plating on the inside, various surface finishes of metal parts. The lamp beautifully complements the chandeliers in the same design.
